I'm just a girl who likes to share my thoughts. I've followed what feels like a long and winding road in my 30+ years of life. I know a little something about heartbreak, disappointment, and things not going according to plan. And I'm learning what's possible in starting over and creating my own happy ending. This is where I share my perspective on the journey.
By day, I'm a former full-time instructional designer/educator who has ventured into the wonderful jungle that is being a stay-at-home mom of three beautiful girls. In the evenings I keep my brain challenged with freelance instructional design editing gigs. I'm the wife of a brilliant attorney who handles insurance defense, HIPAA, and personal injury cases the in Salt Lake City area. He's also a crazy-talented musician and sports stats fanatic. I've always been a book nerd and I studied English and K-12 reading/literacy instruction. I'm a passionate educator at heart and I enjoy doing all I can to enlighten the minds of my daughters and other youth in my community. My other obsessions include writing, singing, and all things musical theatre. I'm happiest when I'm on stage and I'm excited to drag my little girls (hopefully willingly) to perform in community theatre productions far and wide with me when they're old enough.
My path, though rocky, has taught me some invaluable lessons along the way--it's the path that's mine.
